How Snag in CarPlay works

Voice first. Answers are spoken, never shown, and nothing on the car screen needs reading while you drive.

You need an iPhone on iOS 26.4 or later and a car with CarPlay. Nothing to set up on the car. The cheat sheet · CarPlay help

  1. Open Snag on the car screen

    It starts listening straight away. Close the voice screen to see the list: Snag this, Ask an agent, Waiting on you and Parked.

  2. Snag this

    Say it, then "done". It works as it does with AirPods, and it is free.

  3. Ask an agent (Pro)

    Start with an agent's name: "Ops, how did the backup go?". Answers come in short chunks, with "More, or park it?" between them. A private answer asks before it is said out loud.

  4. Approve what is waiting (Pro)

    Tap Waiting on you, then an item. Approve or Hold. An action that needs more takes your code word, said once. Anything that can't be undone waits for Face ID on the phone.

  5. Park the rest

    What needs a screen goes to Parked, for when you have stopped. A passenger can tap I'm a passenger on the phone and approve there.

Nothing is approved by silence, a mishear or an expired approval. Nothing is sold in the car.
