Reminders
Apple Reminders on this iPhone. Each thing you say you need to do becomes a reminder, with what you said in its notes. It stays on your devices and follows your own iCloud settings.
Takes voice and tasks. Notes go to the next connection that takes them, or only to your Snag account.
Connect
- Open Settings > Connections > Add a connection > Reminders.
- Tap Allow Reminders. iOS asks for access to Reminders.
- Allow full access. iOS offers only full access to Reminders. Snag reads list names so you can pick one, and adds reminders. Nothing else.
- Under "Which list?", pick a list, or Default list.
- Tap Continue, then Make default or Not now.
If access was turned off, the step says "Reminders access is off. Turn it on in the Settings app under Snag." with an Open Settings button.
What it writes
| Capture | Reminders |
|---|---|
| Voice, with things to do found | One reminder per thing to do. Title: the thing to do. Notes: the words it came from in quotes, then "Snagged 16 Oct 2026 09:41:" and the whole transcript |
| Voice, nothing found | One reminder. Title: the first line, cut at about 80 characters. Notes: "Snagged 16 Oct 2026 09:41:" and the transcript. With no words: "Snag, 16 Oct 2026 09:41" |
| Task | One reminder with the task's name, notes and due date, in its list |
Options
| Option | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| List | Default list | Any list you can add to |
Limits
- Reminders has no way to spot a repeat, so Snag records each one it adds and never adds the same delivery twice.
- With the passcode not entered since the iPhone started, or the store not ready, the reminder waits and retries.
- If Reminders access is turned off in the Settings app, the connection shows Allow Reminders and captures for it wait.
