Apple Notes
Notes has no way in for other apps, so Snag runs your shortcut with what you said, and the shortcut makes the note. It sends while Snag is open and the phone is not locked.
Takes voice, notes and tasks, as text. No recording, photos or files.
Connect
- In Snag, open Settings > Connections > Add a connection > Apple Notes and tap Continue (or pick Apple Notes in the set-up).
- Tap Get the shortcut when it shows, and add the shortcut. Otherwise, in the Shortcuts app, make a shortcut named "Snag to Notes": Receive Text input, then Create Note with Shortcut Input.
- Under "Which shortcut?", leave Shortcut empty for "Snag to Notes", or type your shortcut's name.
- Tap Continue, then Make default or Not now.

| Option | Default | What it does |

Limits
- Snag has to be on screen to run the shortcut. Hands-free and Siri captures wait until Snag is next open.
- Snag runs the shortcut through Shortcuts' x-callback-url and counts the capture as sent only when the shortcut reports it finished. A missing shortcut, an error, a cancel or no answer within 30 seconds shows "Couldn't reach Apple Notes. Set up the shortcut" on the connection, with Get the shortcut (or Try again). Apple Notes' captures wait until then; the shortcut never runs twice for the same capture.
- Hands-free, a shortcut can also start with Snag's "Get last Snag" action, which gives the last capture's text and its things to do.
