Desktop keybinds
Snag registers no global shortcuts; the desktop runs snag commands. contrib/hypr/ ships these binds, all on Super+Q:
| Keys | Command | Does |
|---|---|---|
| Super+Q | snag capture | open the capture box; pressed again, switch kind |
| Super+Shift+Q | snag capture --note | open the capture box as a note |
| Super+Alt+Q | snag toggle | start or stop the timer |
| Super+Ctrl+Q (Hyprland, Omarchy 3) | snag show | open the timer window |
| Super+Ctrl+Shift+Q (Omarchy 4) | snag show | open the timer window |
On Omarchy 4, Super+Ctrl+Q is the Calculator, so snag.lua uses Super+Ctrl+Shift+Q instead.
Hyprland does not warn about a duplicate bind; the later one wins. Check a key is free before changing it.
On GNOME, KDE and other desktops, add custom shortcuts in the keyboard settings that run the same commands.
